Why Us?
Let’s start with how I am different. Before I got started as an Independent Solar Energy Consultant, I researched and met with a number of solar companies to see if I could become their employee. The offers were there, but what I discovered was most of these companies wanted their employees to follow their misleading scripts and use high pressure sales tactics. They had monthly quotas that must be met and those quotas often resulted in consultants who did not have the best interest of the customer at heart . These consultants are often driven to make “x” amount in sales in order to keep their job - not help the customer. My focus is to make sure I’m providing value to my customers and presenting them with options that are in their best interest.
Some people ask me “Rob, what’s your ‘why?’” And if someone would have asked me this question a few years ago, I honestly would not have known how to respond. For so long I debated making a career shift into the renewable energy industry, but then I made excuses to stay in my stable corporate job that merely covered my monthly bills. Eventually there came a point where I began thinking about my place and purpose in the world. I started feeling this need for purpose more and more until I realized my ‘why’ is to be someone trustworthy that homeowners can talk to about the adoption of clean solar energy. Today, I make myself available to anyone that wants to learn more about going solar.
Go Solar With Rob also contributes to organizations as a means to give back. When you allow me to help you make the switch to solar, you are also helping to contribute to these and other amazing causes:
